Entrepreneurship Lab 4th post
When my product gets up and going I will need to showcase the supper screen an the appliances we have collaborated with. To do so I will hold a small premier at a disclosed site and send out selective invitations. During the premier pictures will be taken and a article will be written about the event.
Non of the products will be limited during the premier, so all TV's, mobile devices, and computers will be fully accessible and there will be multiples of each. Because of the lack of trust in people these days some type of security is needed so nothing is stolen from this promotional event. For the security Automatic Identification Technology will be used. Auto-ID technology will allow me to always pin point all of my products exact location.
To use Auto-ID technology three things will be needed; RFID tags, RFID reader and a Host computer. RFID tags are tiny stickers that have a small computerized chip that allow anything its stuck to to be located. These actual stickers are cheep and make this security system an inexpensive one. RFID readers are used to scan these stickers on products. Readers are usually used for checking amounts, checking into something or counting off of items. A common use for RFID readers are to take inventory in stores. I would use the reader at my premier to actually register each product into the system.
The last component to the Auto-ID technology is the host computer. The host computer is where you can see everything, all your tags and their exact location. This is how the Auto-ID technology will be of service to me.

Entrepreneurship Lab 3rd post
When computing annual costs for the Super Screen, the best way to do so would be to use a spread sheet programs like Excel or Numbers. These programs can be useful with looking at long term statistics such as shipping costs, dates, inventory, supplies, customers personal information and many more things. This is a easy way to chart my company's information by myself so I always know exactly what is going on, or if I need access to certain things they're at my disposal.
Using applications like Excel and Numbers can be extremely beneficial just for the sake of organization, but it could also help me save money. For example, one could be reviewing the information and notice that too much money was spent on buying supplies. After realizing this we could look up the different people we buy our raw materials from and try to cut down. After looking this information up we could try to work out some type of deal, where my company could buy a certain amount of parts and receive a lower price based on consistency.
Excel and numbers have many resources within their programing. The most helpful to my product would be the use of the functions. These functions allow anyone to put formulas in cells to do calculations. One function that can be extremely helpful is the conditional formatting. This allows you to set rules for cell formatting. A specific way I could use conditional formatting would be to have one cell represent either positive or negative information regarding my money available versus the calculated expenses.
When my available money is less than my expenses I could have the cell light up in a solid red to draw attention. When the available money is greater I could have the cell light up in a solid green to symbolize everything is ok.

SYRACUSE
Its seams like any time someone asks me how is school the first thing I have to say is how much fun it is, which is really weird because I actually don't do too, too much. Even with that said I don't think I would change my answers. Syracuse is a net workers heaven. I meet new people every single day. Its really cool and the people are extremely welcoming. I get along with my roommate. My classes are OK, OK enough to be able to handle the work. I tried to get really involved early like in high school but its not the same. You'll mess around and stress yourself out. I live on a floor filled with a bunch of multicultural students so when I come to my floor it kinda feels good not to see just one race. There is a little bit of everything up here. I'm really on my own, well clearly not completely because college is like a sheltered world, but it is the next step and I feel it being exactly that. Words cannot explain how thankful I am for being in this position to grow and learn in such a positive well resourced environment. I think I'm the only one of my friends who does this. Often I catch myself saying, I cant believe I go to Syracuse University... I always knew I was going to go to school but I never imagined here. Well that's enough being star struck, time to do something worth wile while I'm here.

Entrepreneurship Lab 2nd Post
Ways I could incorporate the micro blogging application Twitter into my Super Screen is promotional advertisement, release date information, and sweepstakes competitions. All three ideas would immensely help advertisement and create a buzz around my product.
With Twitter being so public is is very easy to reach a specific crowd or just the general public. In my attempt to promote the Super Screen I would do both. Promotion in small social communities first will ultimately make a larger buzz. I would attempt to reach specific social groups by using appropriate hash tags. I would use hash tags along with words that associate with the specific targeted social group. For example this could be a potential Tweet: @Marcwoulddothat- Tired of your #smartphone screens breaking? Visit Ineedsupperscreen.com for the solution to your problem. This tweet would be directed to users who have smart phones but isn't limited.
Twitter is a great way to let the world know when a product is being released. People who are really interested in my product would follow my products twitter. When I tweet information like drop dates and promotional video my followers will see. They will possibly tell others and the word is spread. Some users might even retweet my promotional tweeets in excitement. Another great way to get people excited and to promote a product online using twitter is to create a contest/sweepstakes competition. Could be ass easy as asking my twitter followers to tweet a specific tweet. Like product information that would show that they been doing research or that they are just knowledgeable about the supper screen. In a reward to their loyalty they would be rewarded with a supper screen for free or earlier than the public release day.

Lab 1 - Entrepreneurship
Considering how technology is used in our everyday life, I feel it calls for improvement in the electronic screen area. All screens from desktop screens to lap top screens to Ipod screens to cell phone screens and even TV screens. They get too dirty, they get dusty, they get smudges that don't come out and worst of all they crack. I thought of this idea from personal experiences with electronics throughout my life. There is a lot of room for improvement when talking about electronic screens.
I would say there have been many advancements in electronic screens so this idea is innovative. I see improvements including anti smudge screens. Yes these are out already but I'm interested in making electronic screens cheaper and affordable so all electronics can make progress. I would also like to make the screens more durable and have anti crack screens.
One area where I might run into trouble is actually making a screen crack proof. Anything can be broken with the right amount of pressure. The goal is to make it strong enough to with stand most amounts of pressure than could be applied by a the common person. Another area where I might run into trouble is finding an inexpensive strong material to construct these screens out of.

COLLEGE ..
College is over whelming. Not because of work load or anything, but more so because of everything that is at your disposal. Almost everything you could think of is at your finger tips. I've only been here a week and I'm like "O SH%*". But its nothing to a boss. I've been talking to a few people and they're helping me realize what is too much to balance. You have to have the discipline to know what is to much and what isn't. Word to my young brothers and sisters, get hip to talking to seniors.... #realtalk

Just take a look at some of these album covers! Like it looks like so much more time and effort was put into them than cd covers today, well the majority of cd covers. I know I cant be the only one who thinks this but it looks like there was much more quality in the things people did 20, 30 years ago. And that applies to everything from music to food to cleaning the house to their work ethic. They just put more effort in things and did them with more passion. But enough talking, enjoy ..
